AACB Victoria is pleased to announce the Inaugural Reference Interval Workshop, designed for participants at all levels. Whether you are new to reference intervals and indirect methods or seeking deeper insight into statistical principles and implementation, this workshop will provide both foundational knowledge and practical application.
The programme combines conceptual sessions with interactive workshop components to support applied learning.
Programme Outline
9.00–9.45 am: Reference Intervals and Clinical Decision Limits
9.45–10.30 am: Statistical Basis of Indirect Reference Interval Procedures
10.30–11.00 am: Morning Tea
11.00–11.45 am: Data Prerequisites for Accurate Indirect Reference Intervals
11.45 am–12.30 pm: Workshop Preparation and Introductions
12.30–1.00 pm: Lunch
1.00–2.00 pm: Workshop 1
2.00–3.00 pm: Workshop 2
3.00–3.30 pm: Afternoon Tea
3.30–4.30 pm: Workshop Discussion and Summary
Participants should bring their own laptop, as the afternoon sessions will involve interactive, hands on data analysis exercises.
